My CV (Updated Oct 2023)
I am a Ph.D. student at the Yale Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center (2020~), supervised by Professor Chi Liu. I develop algorithms for nuclear image (SPECT/PET) analysis and reconstruction, mostly for cardiac imaging. My thesis committee includes Professors Chi Liu, Albert Sinusas, Richard Carson, and Xenophon Papademetris. I received my Master of Science and Master of Philosophy degrees at Yale en route to my Ph.D. in 2023. In summer 2023, I interned at Siemens Healthineers in the PET physics group with Dr. Maurizio Conti. I worked on a project related to accelerated PET reconstruction, respiratory motion correction, and Monte-Carlo simulation.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree (with Honors) in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in May 2020. Since my second year at RPI, I worked on applying deep learning algorithms for X-ray CT image processing and reconstruction under the supervision of Professor Ge Wang in the AI-based X-ray Imaging System (AXIS) lab. I also had a chance to work on a project related to few-view breast CT with Koning Health.
